PDF support for book importation for narrator

I've received a book in PDF format I'm to narrate. Converting it to epub makes it unreadable (images of the chapter text extend beyond the screen).
Importing PDF and .doc files should be added to the narrator software. As it is, it's unusable for me :(
Also - add
Import > Audio
> Book/Manuscript
into the "import" submenu and get rid of "open" for the manuscript. You call it "import" in your tutorials. It should be in the "import" function, not an "open" function.

        Hi Mike,

There is a reason the PDF to Epub3 is not that simple for you .... it's not a simple thing to do. We have spent a lot of time and money on trying to import PDF - and it might be doable, but we also (as every other company) get a lot of garbled text out of it.
It is more doable to add the ability to open a doc file - and we will try to get around to that in the future.
Regarding open or Import ... it's a mistake in the tutorial. It is Open. Import is a function used for adding material to an already existing session.

        Best regards,
        Nick
